The showgardens are always a huge attraction at Sandringham Flower Show.
The Committee invite applications from garden designers to design and build showgardens on the showground.
The gardens are always built to an amazingly high standard which rivals any of the other major Horticultural Shows.
The showgardens always receive huge publicity from the local press, and each designer is featured in the official Show Programme. 10,000 copies of the programme are distributed in advance of the Show, and about 4,000 are sold on Show day.
The gardens are judged on show day by top television gardening presenters Chris Beardshaw and Alan Mason. Certificates are awarded for Gold, Silver Gilt, Silver and Bronze Awards and the “Best in Show” showgarden is also presented with the Eastern Daily Press trophy. There is also a certificate for the “Peoples Choice” voted for by the public attending the Show.
Applicants are expected to submit a concept plan in due course.

Designers and/or sponsors may be advertised on the showgarden subject to restrictions on size of advertisement. In addition designers may also purchase, for a modest fee, trade stand space in close proximity to the showgarden, to further promote their own business or that of any sponsor.
